Regarding International Sign Confusion

So, the purpose of the international signs is to convey a message that will be understood in any language. So, which sign means: extremely large deer? reindeer? caribou? big dog with funny hat? Is it "speeding trucks ahead"? We saw signs saying "Truck Crossing" so does the sign mean "fast truck"? Or "fast truck about to collide into a sky scraper with an elevator in it"? And what's the deal with the apple? Apple depository ahead? Follow the trash trail to apples? Beware, historic apples hiding ahead?

Of course our favorite was the obvious display of enthusiasm and patriotism for the 2010 Winter Olympics!!
